STRATEGY & PERFORMANCE
Helping you see the business more clearly
As businesses grow, they become more complicated.
There are more people, more information, more decisions and more things competing for management attention.
The Priority Office provides an independent view of the business, helping owners and leadership teams understand where they are, decide what needs attention and put practical measures and actions around what happens next.
The focus is not on producing lengthy strategy documents. It is on helping you make clearer decisions and improve business performance.
How we can help
01 Strategy & Priorities
Decide what matters most
Clarify where the business is going, what needs to change and where management time and resources should be focused.
This can include strategic reviews, annual business planning, leadership sessions, growth priorities and 90-day planning.
02 Business Performance
Know how the business is really performing
Make management information more useful and focus attention on the measures that genuinely matter. Where the right measures do not yet exist, The Priority Office can help design them from the ground up — linking business priorities to clear KPIs, targets, ownership and reporting.
This can include business performance reviews, KPI design, management reporting, targets, scorecards and monthly performance reviews.
03 Profit & Commercial Performance
Understand where the business makes money
Look beyond headline turnover to understand the customers, products, services, prices and costs that are actually driving profit.
This can include revenue and margin analysis, pricing, customer and product profitability, forecasting, productivity and commercial decision support.
04 Delivery & Accountability
Turn priorities into action
Put clear ownership, measures and regular review around the things the business has agreed to do.
This can include 90-day priorities, action planning, management reviews, progress tracking and ongoing independent support.
Ways to work with The Priority Office
Business Performance Review
A structured, independent review of where the business stands today.
We look at performance, financial and commercial information, existing management reporting and current priorities to identify the issues and opportunities that deserve management attention.
Outcome:
A clearer picture of the business and a practical set of priorities for the next 90 days.
Strategy & Priority Day
A focused working day for owners and leadership teams who need time away from day-to-day operations to agree what happens next.
We work through where the business is now, where you want it to go, what is getting in the way and which priorities will make the greatest difference.
Outcome:
Clear priorities, agreed actions, measures of success and ownership.
Profit & Commercial Performance Review
A deeper look at where the business is making money — and where value may be leaking away.
Depending on the business, we can review revenue, margins, pricing, customers, products or services, sales performance, labour, productivity and costs.
Outcome:
Practical opportunities to improve profit and commercial performance.
KPI & Performance Reset
A review of what the business currently measures and how that information is used. Where measures are missing or poorly defined, we can also design a practical KPI framework from scratch around the things that matter most to the business.
The aim is not to create more reporting. It is to establish a smaller number of meaningful measures that help management understand performance and make better decisions.
Outcome:
Clearer KPIs, newly designed measures where needed, ownership, targets and a more useful management review process.
90-Day Priority Programme
Structured support over three months to make sure agreed priorities do not disappear once day-to-day pressures return.
We establish what needs to happen, who owns it, how progress will be measured and when it will be reviewed.
Outcome:
Greater focus, visibility and accountability around the priorities that matter.
Priority Partner
Ongoing independent support for owners and leadership teams who want an experienced outside perspective involved regularly.
Support can include strategy, commercial performance, management information, business planning, management meetings, quarterly reviews and problem solving.
Unlike a one-off project, Priority Partner works alongside the business over time.

Understand
What is actually happening?
Start with the facts. Understand the financial, commercial and operational picture and the issues management is dealing with.
Prioritise
What matters most?
Identify the small number of issues and opportunities that deserve management attention.
Measure
How will we know?
Agree what success looks like and design the measures and KPIs that will show whether things are improving. This can include defining measures from scratch, setting targets and deciding who owns each measure.
Act
What needs to happen?
Turn decisions into clear actions, owners and timescales.
Review
Is it working?
Keep progress visible, challenge what is not working and adjust where necessary.
Corporate experience. SME reality.
The Priority Office brings together experience from two very different sides of business.
Before moving into business ownership, its founder worked for more than a decade across strategy, finance, commercial analysis, performance management and business planning in major international organisations including Dubai Airports, Emirates Leisure Retail, Puma and BAE Systems.
That work included strategic planning, commercial modelling, forecasting, pricing, performance reporting, KPI development and business improvement.
This was followed by nine years of directly owning, developing and operating an SME.
That brings first-hand experience of the realities smaller businesses face — customers, staff, pricing, rising costs, cash flow, investment decisions, competing priorities and limited management time.
The Priority Office brings those two perspectives together: structured thinking and commercial analysis, applied practically to an SME.
